I am sorry to upset you, but there is no medicine for piles, Ayurvedic or modern. You can remove it by surgery, but it will be back if you don’t change your lifestyle.
The main reason for piles is that your anal canal weakens with age. So, if you are in lack of physical activity and consume only low-fiber food, it will only worsen your piles.
So, you have to increase your physical activity (each day) and go on a high-fiber diet. And you will see that your piles disappear little by little.
First off: see a real physician who actually knows something about hemorrhoids (″piles”). Make sure the diagnosis is correct You could have a fissure, a fistula. condyloma, a hypertrophic anal papilla, or even CANCER. Please don’t be a fool and seek out remedies of no proven value when you don’t even know for certain what your problem is.
- According to Ayurveda, Vata dosa Gets vitiates and reaches the rectum and vitiates other dosas like pitta, Rakta and kapha and causes arshas.
- Generally pakvasaya ( large intestine) is the seat of vata.
- Apana Vata ( type of Vata) helps in the Elimination of feces, urine, and fetus.
- So in general due to obstruction in the channels, Apana Vata gets vitiated and results in the conditions like constipation, etc.,
So I consider piles under vatajavyadhi.
In general, we can give a treatment of Vata in general like vasti and virechana
- But vasti ( enema) is contraindicated because it irritates the anal canal and produces bleeding.
Virechana can be given to relieve constipation.
Some virechana drugs like haritaki churnam, Triphala churnam, trivrt churnam, Etc., drugs
Drugs that have Lekahana property are to be used to cut the pile mass such as musta, Haridra etc., drugs can be used.
The main drug that relieves arshas is ARSHAKUTA RAS.
Rakta sthambana drugs should also be given
Prolapsed piles - require surgery.
On whole, we have treatment in Ayurveda that cures arshas.
Ayurvedic treatment for piles is not medically oriented, but treatment-oriented.
You may need to undergo Kshar Karma therapy and Ksharsutra, by which the piles can be completely removed.
This treatment may last around 10–30 days depending upon your condition. This is a nonsurgical procedure and doesn't require any bed rest.
