It is also important to keep food clean while cooking. Make sure that utensils are washed thoroughly between uses. Washing dishes is recommended after using them to prepare food. Never use the same pot to cook different types of food.

 Finally, it is important to store food properly. Store perishable items in the refrigerator. Refrigerators help prevent the growth of bacteria. However, it is still important to make sure that the refrigerator door is closed tightly. Also, don't leave food outside of the refrigerator. Food should always be kept inside of the fridge.
